Gîte de Chapelèche en Ardèche

The House Chapelèche can receive up to 7 people.

It is located on a southern slope, at 710 meters altitude, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Monts d'Ardèche. Magnificent views overlooking the wild valley of Glueyre, where you can swim in "pools" natural carved in granite.

The cottage is surrounded by a forest of chestnut trees over 200 years, cultivated terraces.
The only permanent inhabitant of the hamlet is the owner. Peace and quiet is assured.
All the space around the cottage is free access.

Retained in the departmental archives of the Drôme, a document consists of six goatskins sewn, and written in Latin by the Lord of Marette attests to the existence of the house ... Chapelèche in 1342!
In 1981, she was in ruins. We have been patiently restored, and, in its architecture, it combines modern and traditional farms Ardèche.
Now you can stay in comfort, enjoying the beautiful view and very friendly spacious library / fireplace / living / dining room / kitchen.

Access to the cottage Chapelèche tarred by a town road without end: peace and quiet are guaranteed, away from any traffic.
The cottage, forming a wing of the stone house of the owner, enjoys a separate entrance.

Possibility of grilling in the fireplace (wood provided). Internet Access (WiFi). TV and DVD. Numerous books and magazines, board games.
Secure outdoor terrace with a balustrade, shaded by a Kiwi, South facing front of the house (table, chairs and sun loungers).

The house is open all year, weekly rentals.
Price: from 400 to 650 Euros per week depending on season.

On arrive à Chapelèche depuis la vallée du Rhône.

1/ Si vous arrivez du Nord de la France :
Sortir de l’ autoroute A7 à Valence Sud.
Suivez d'abord la direction de "Le Puy en Velay", puis celle de "Privas", puis celle de "Le Cheylard".
Entrez dans Beauchastel.

2/ Si vous arrivez du Sud de la France
Sortir de l'autoroute A7 à Loriol.
Allez à "Le Pouzin".
Prenez la direction de "Valence".
Traversez "La Voulte", direction "Valence".
Entrez dans Beauchastel.

A Beauchastel, prendre la direction de "Le Cheylard" et remontez la Vallée de l'Eyrieux jusqu'à Saint Sauveur de Montagut (une vingtaine de kilomètres au milieu des pêchers).
Dans Saint Sauveur de Montagut, prendre la direction de Mézilhac.
A environ 8 ou 9 km de St Sauveur de Montagut, tournez à droite, direction Gluiras.
Faire environ 3 km sur une petite route très en pente.

Au niveau de la borne kilométrique métallique sur laquelle est inscrite la mention suivante "D 264 PR26", vous verrez sur votre gauche un panneau "Chapelèche" : vous n'avez plus qu'à vous laisser guider; et au bout de ce chemin de 1,3 Km, vous êtes arrivés.! (la maison de Chapelèche est à l'extrémité de ce chemin).
